Number three on our list is this 2020 Tour de France Itinerary. The Tour de France is one of the iconic sporting events of the year but it is also a great excuse to get our there exploring France, which you will see plenty of across the 1500Km route.

Starting on the east coast of France in harbour towns of Île d’Oléron and Île de Ré, stopping by the University city of Poitiers, the theme park of Futurescope and rich grounds of Château de Touffou.

Number five on our list is one to really indulge yourself in. Taking the short drive over the border to Belgium on this richly ‘gastronomique’ itinerary of around 1000Km.

Start with Champagne tasting in France on the way up, followed by the finest Belgian chocolates as a second course. Explore the flower markets in Mons and cap it all off with a Chocolate Chaud Chantilly in the St Germain Tea Rooms.
