It’s that time of the year when many of our incoming enquiries are about long-term hires, and clients who are planning extended tours or multiple trips often ask whether they should hire or buy a campervan or motorhome to get the most cost-effective solution.
If you’re hoping to make a trip in 2018 that’s longer than about six weeks, now is the time to plan it. Very soon the rental fleets of Europe will have a good spread of hires across the season, so it becomes impossible to accommodate longer trips as the gaps between bookings get shorter. And, if you’re planning to buy for a longer trip, the best selection of vehicles will be available from now until April. After that your buying choices will diminish as buyers snap up motorhomes to use during the summer months.
As we offer both motorhome/motorhome rental and sales we have a foot in both camps, so are happy to offer impartial advice if you tell us a little about your plans. Just tell us when you would like to start and finish your trip, how many people you need to accommodate, and where you plan to travel to.
