OUR LOCATION

Discover the town of Montargis

Our depot is based near the town of Montargis about 90 miles south of Paris.

With easy access from the motorway network (the nearest junction is 15 minutes from our depot) we are ideally located as the starting point for any French touring break.

Many of our UK customers choose to book their motorhome hire from our depot because of the benefits of coming from England in their own car or by using public transport. Unlike hiring a motorhome in the UK and bringing it to France, you don't waste your valuable hire period getting to the port, crossing the channel and driving through France. Nor do you stand the cost of crossing the channel in a large vehicle. By hiring in the Centre of France you can cross the channel and cover the miles in your own vehicle, make the journey by train or even fly in if you prefer, starting your holiday straight after you collect your motorhome.

The castle of MontargisWe are based around four to five hours drive from the Eurotunnel terminal and sea ports of Northern France.

Those who wish to arrive by Eurostar can cross the channel and arrive at our nearest rail station as little as five hours after leaving London. With regular trains between Paris and Montargis, getting from the airports of Paris to our nearest rail station is easy too. For those travelling by train, we can arrange collection by car or taxi for a small charge.

There are several charming campsites within minutes of our depot for first or last night stop-overs as well as major supermarkets, local grocery stores and a great range of dining options from rural inns to Michelin accredited restaurants. If you make it no further than a 50 kilometre radius of our depot there is plenty to occupy you for a week right here.

See our DESTINATIONS page for details of what to do locally, distances to neighbouring regions and destinations further afield.

Directions to our depot

Driving time from the northern seaports of Calais or Boulogne is about four and half hours. Travel from Paris to Montargis by train takes about one and a half hours. We have compiled an information sheet which we will send to you once you book (or on request) showing directions to our depot by car and detailed instructions on how to get here by public transport.
